Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal data ZeroClick Analytics collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It covers our website (zeroclickanalytics.com), our dashboard (dashboard.zeroclickanalytics.com), and the bot traffic data we process for our customers.

The short version

  • We are a small, privacy-first business. We only collect what we need to run the service.
  • Our product does not receive data about the human visitors of our customers' websites. The forwarder our customers install filters human traffic out before anything is sent to us.
  • On our own website, Google Analytics only runs if you accept it. Our other analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) uses no cookies.
  • We never sell your personal data.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time: support@zeroclickanalytics.com.

Who we are

ZeroClick Analytics is run by Ankit Ghosh, a sole proprietor based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. We are the “controller” (under the GDPR) and “data fiduciary” (under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) for the personal data described in sections 1 and 2 below. You can reach us at support@zeroclickanalytics.com.

1. Visitors to our website

When you visit zeroclickanalytics.com, we collect:

  • Cookie-free statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): pages viewed, referring website, country, device and browser type, and page speed. This data is aggregated, uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
  • Google Analytics 4, only with your consent: if you click “Accept All” in our cookie banner, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location, and device information. It runs through Cloudflare Zaraz, and we shorten (trim) your IP address before it reaches Google. If you reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics doesn't run.
  • Technical and security data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.
  • Your country (not your exact location), used only to show your country code in the example dashboard on our homepage. It isn't stored.

You can change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

2. Customers and account holders

When you sign up, use the dashboard, pay, or contact us, we collect:

  • Account details: your name, email address and login details (handled by our login provider, Clerk), plus your workspace name and the team members you invite.
  • Billing details: handled by Dodo Payments, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments collects your payment and billing information; we receive your plan, payment status and billing country, but never your full card details.
  • Product usage: the websites you connect, your settings, and how you use the dashboard (for example, pages viewed), so we can run and improve the service. If you accept analytics cookies, we may link this to an internal account ID (never your name or email).
  • Messages and calls: emails you send to support, and the details you give when booking a call with us (name, email, time, and anything you write).
  • Newsletters and product updates: your email address, if you subscribe or are a customer. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

3. Bot traffic data we process for customers

Our product shows customers which AI agents and bots visit their websites. Customers send us this data using a log forwarder we provide, which runs on their own infrastructure. The forwarder filters out human visitors before sending anything, so we never receive data about our customers' human visitors.

For each bot or AI agent request, we receive and store:

  • Date and time
  • The bot's user agent (for example, GPTBot or ClaudeBot)
  • The page requested and the HTTP status code
  • The country and IP address the request came from

Most of these requests come from companies' crawlers. Some come from fake bots or scrapers, whose IP addresses may in rare cases relate to an individual. For this data, our customer is the controller and we act as their processor: we only use it to provide the service to that customer, and we delete it when they ask or when their subscription ends.

Customers who need a data processing agreement (DPA) can contact us at support@zeroclickanalytics.com.
